Abous Us

Since 2019, Posie has been redefining lingerie—merging sustainability with artistry to craft pieces that speak to women who carve their own path. Designed for the dreamers, the free-spirits, the changemakers—Posie is an ode to individuality, inner strength, and a deep love for the planet.

Our ethos is simple: you shouldn’t have to choose between what looks good, what feels good, and what does good.

That’s why...

Our fabrics are sustainably sourced where possible, crafted in the UK, and of a quality that will last for years to come.

Our designs are hand-drawn by our founder, inspired by nature, and totally unique to what else is out there.

Our manufacturing is made in the UK by artisans who are paid fairly and treated with care.

We’re not perfect—but we’re committed to evolving. Sustainability is a journey, not a destination. As better materials and methods become available, we continue to grow with intention.

To us, lingerie is ritual—the first layer you choose each day, the last you let go of at night. It moves with you through every experience, whether you’re journaling by candlelight, dancing under festival lights, or simply showing up for yourself. It deserves to feel like an extension of your truest self.

From our founder

Posie was born from a single question:

Can fashion be truly sustainable?

It was a question I posed whilst studying Contour Fashion at De Montfort University and the answer wasn’t something I enjoyed discovering. The scale of environmental harm. The exploitation woven into the seams of fast fashion. The performative greenwashing from brands who had the power to do better, but chose otherwise.

It brought me to tears. And lit a fire within me.

I couldn’t accept that this was just the way things were. So I set out to create something different. A brand built on integrity, intention, and imagination. That’s where Posie was born.

Posie began as a love letter for the planet, for people, and for the power of personal expression.

What I’d seen of ethical fashion at the time felt muted, restrained — sustainability had to mean sacrificing style and creativity.

That didn’t sit right with me.

So I chose to do it differently. To make pieces that felt untamed and unapologetic. To bring my deep devotion to nature into every detail ~ hand-drawing intricate embroideries, weaving story into stitch.

And I kept pushing.

I still remember a designer friend once telling me moths had no place in lingerie. Naturally, my next collection had them dancing through the design.

Because Posie was never meant to play it safe. It was always going to challenge the status-quo of both sustainability and style—and that’s exactly what it does.
